Tickets still available for concert by popular Male Voice Choir
Tickets are still available for a Gala Concert being organised and performed by the popular and in demand Alcester Male Voice Choir.
The concert which is being held at the Town Hall in Birmingham on Sunday 17th April features a range of songs which demonstrates the versatility of the choir and and reflects the wide range of songs performed regularly by Male Voice Choirs throughout the country.
Judith Land BEM,choir founder and Director of Music said ” It is a well known fact that Male Voice Choirs originate from Wales, we are of course an English choir but with a strong Welsh influence and do attract a loyal band of supporters who have come to appreciate the diverse range of songs we perform. I would encourage anyone who has not been to a Male Voice Choir concert before to come along and enjoy an evening of song. We shall be supported on stage by the Elliott Rooney Quartet who will perform original numbers which take inspiration from Jazz artists mixed in with Soul and Pop Music. and talented 13 year old Billy Vale, from Studley, who will be singing with the choir as well as performing some songs solo. For this concert I have now added and additional item to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations and am encouraging the audience to wear a small item of red, white and blue or bring along a small Union Jack flag”
Tickets for the concert are £20.00 and £22.50 each and can be obtained by calling the choirs booking office 07860 379668 or by downloading a booking form firstname.lastname@example.org
