Johnsons Coaches and local choir go for fourth encore

Henley based Johnsons Coach & Bus have entered into a sponsorship agreement for the fourth year running with one of the region’s best known choirs, The Alcester Male Voice Choir.

John Johnson, Director of Johnsons Coach & Bus said ” We are very selective with our sponsorship, but we have always been very impressed with the Alcester Male Voice Choir, under the guidance of their Director of Music, Judith Land they turn in impressive performances time after time and like us they work extremely hard to deliver performances of the very highest standards. I believe the arrangement is and has been good for both organisations with significant benefits all round. The profile of the choir and its audiences are a natural fit with the profile of our own customers, so we are delighted to support the choir for another year.

Judith Land Director of music for the Alcester Male Voice Choir said ” We are once again very grateful to Johnsons, like them we have an excellent reputation and it is important to us that we team up with a quality organisation that always strives to be the best that they can be in their field and with Johnsons that is certainly the case”

The 86 strong choir has another busy year ahead, with regular local concerts and three special engagements, in the Autumn they will be taking part in the Festival of Male Voice Choirs at the Royal Albert Hall, then next Spring they will singing to Johnsons customers at a new brochure launch at The West Midlands Safari Park, , then in the Summer the choir will be singing in St Georges Chapel Windsor.
