Branching Out of Town for Popular Choir

Alcester Male Voice Choir is not just for the people of Alcester it would seem since 30 of its 83 choristers hail from nearby Redditch. Judith Land founder and director of music for the choir said “It’s amazing how much support we get from the town, we have always had an extremely strong membership from Redditch men. As a choir we perform regular fund raising concerts in the area for churches, charities, and societies and when we do we are always well supported and often a sell out. It seems that Redditch residents appreciate male voice choir music and thoroughly enjoy what they hear when they come to hear us. We are extremely grateful for their support and indeed are the organisations we perform for.”

The choir was founded in 1974 holds regular fund raising concerts for various charities  with an annual concert held every year April in the Greig Hall in Alcester. This year’s concert is taking place April 16th and tickets are priced at £12. Booking Forms can be downloaded form the choir’s web site.
